Announcement of the Temporary Ohara Museum of Art Closure and the Special Exhibitions Postponement and Cancellation

■ Temporary Closure

In an effort to prevent and halt the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the Ohara Museum of Art has been temporarily closed from 11th April. We are now making preparations for the stable and long-term realization of a safe environment for our visitors and staff, and will urgently implement the air conditioning work of the Main Gallery scheduled for this year.
For that reason, we have decided to continue the temporary closure until about the mid-August 2020.
Later announcements will be made on our website regarding when the museum will reopen in the immediate future as the situation develops.

We will continue to post updates as the situation develops.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
