The Main Gallery was built when the Ohara Museum of Art was founded.
The museum expanded to open the Annex, the Craft Art Gallery, the Asiatic Art Gallery and Kojima Torajiro Memorial Hall and has
maintained these galleries to this day.
The museum celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2000, when water lilies were sent from Monet's Japanese-style garden in Giverny, France.
In the pond next to the Craft Art Gallery, beautiful water lilies are in full bloom from spring to summer.
You can enter the galleries as many times as you like during the day of your ticket purchase.
Please have a good time at the Ohara Museum of Art.

Some works has not been exhibited by lending to other museum or holding exhibition or maintenance. Please acknowledge it beforehand. Please inquire about works under the exhibition in advance.
